As BK Racing embarks on this weekend’s Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway, the team will have several new additions to their stable, including the addition of Scorpyd Crossbows as a two race primary sponsor for Richmond and Talladega. BK Racing’s newest teammate Cole Whitt will drive the #26 Scorpyd Crossbows Toyota Camry as he competes for Sunoco Rookie of the Year in his debut race under the BK Racing flag. Scorpyd Crossbows and Reverse Draw Technology are both creations of Crossbow innovator Jim Kempf. The technology that Jim Kempf created has now lead Scorpyd Crossbows to be one of the most effective hunting tools to date.(BK Racing).
As Swan Racing rides off and fades into the NASCAR sunset, it will be interesting to see how long BK Racing can support adding a third race team, and Cole Whitt’s racing efforts. From the previous day’s PR regarding the break up of Swan Racing, and the parceling of it’s assests to Xxxtreme Racing and BK Racing, the real question is how the additional assests acquired by these two subpar performing race teams will be best utilized! Quite possibly Cole Whitt could be out of a job in just a few weeks, or BK Racing could have the resources to make an additional race team flourish. Only time will tell!
TIL NEXT TIME, I AM STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
