It is expected to be announced any day that JR Motorsports have agreed to filed a Nationwide Series car for Kasey Kahne and Brad Sweet for 2013.

Great Clips, which signed on to sponsor three Sprint Cup races for Kahne’s #5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet in 2013, will move its sponsorship from Turner Motorsports to JRM to support the Nationwide Series effort. Kahne ran 15 races for Turner Motorsports in the #38 Great Clips Chevy in 2012. After a decade-long association with Kahne, Great Clips made its Sprint Cup debut as his co-primary sponsor at Texas Motor Speedway in November.

An official announcement of Kahne’s addition to JRM’s Nationwide program could come as early as Wednesday, sources said. Kahne is expected to run up to 15 races with JRM in 2013, splitting time with Brad Sweet. It was unclear which car number the duo would use.(Charlotte Observer)

As a results of the impending relationship between JR Motorsports and Kasey Kahne, and the fact that Great Clips is following Kahne over to JR Motorsports, Great Clips will no longer be a primary sponsor  of the Turner Motorsports #38.

It has not been announced how many races that Great Clips will be the primary sponsor for Kahne and Sweet.  Likewise, the car number for Kahne and JR Motorsports has not been released as of this date.

It is just 52 days, 1 hour, 24 minutes, and 17 seconds til the green flag drops for the 2013 Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway!
